Niece to the Duke of Norfolk, Catherine (1521-1542) became Henry VIII's fifth wife on July 28, 1540 in a marriage arranged by her family. In 1541 Henry accused her of adultery and had her beheaded in the Tower of London.
Designed by Peter Gee, Catherine is dressed in brown, gold and white. The handle is formed of an axe.
