Our First!

Greetings antique lovers!

Welcome to our blog! This is our very first blog post and we couldn't be more excited to share our love for antiques with you.

We're an antique shop that specializes in unique and beautiful pieces from the past. From vintage jewellery to interior décor, we have something for everyone.

Why do we love antiques? Well, the answer is simple. Each piece has a story to tell. From the intricate details to the wear and tear, these treasures have been loved and cherished for years. They've seen the world go by, witnessed history, and have stood the test of time. Holding an antique in your hands is like holding a unique piece of history.

But antiques are not just for collectors or serious buyers. They can add a touch of charm and character to any home. Imagine a beautifully restored Victorian mirror hanging on your wall, or a vintage teapot gracing your kitchen shelf. These small details can make all the difference and can really bring a room to life.

Now, as much as we love antiques, we also love having a bit of fun. That's why we've decided to share some of our funny moments with you. We can't promise they're all 100% accurate and some may be at the expense of other in the nicest possible way , but they're sure to put a smile on your face!

1.Visitors ask if the antique item is used?

2.Visitors often ask if the taxidermy is real?

3.Visitors often ask, where do we get all our stock from? We sometimes ponder this question ourselves!

4.Customers (jewellery) often ask if we can clean their ring!

5.A popular question. Is the shop haunted? Of course, it is!

Well, that's all for now. We hope you enjoyed our first blog post and stay tuned for more news, updates, and fun facts from our little old antique shop.

Love to you all from the Strichen Antiques Team
